Sitomo Webinar | Friday, October 4, 2024
Until recently, today’s world was described as VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous). The change did not stop there and some researchers are already describing the current environment as BANI (brittle, anxious, non-linear, incomprehensible). This requires a whole new capacity for innovation from companies and organisations.
While some companies are in the turmoils of change, others have found an agile and innovative ability to adapt, adjust and even define their own environment. This enables sustainable success and growth, but it requires two things from leadership and culture – courage and psychological safety.
Psychological safety is not a clear-cut phenomenon, but it is one that currently offers organisations the opportunity to expand and broaden their culture, rather than shrink and limit it. Psychologically safe workplaces have been shown to be more flexible, quicker to learn, and more engaging, not to mention better well-being. Leading safety requires courage from leaders, but the good news is, courage is a skill to be learnt!
Sitomo Ltd organised a webinar where Outi Stüber, consultant and learning designer and was joined by Ilona Lott to discuss how you can lead your organisation towards a more courageous and psychologically safe culture. Watch the recording to learn more!
